Abet Computers Terms and Conditions Agreement

DATA

The client shall be responsible for saving or backing up data contained on any computer that Abet Computers agrees to re-image, repair or service.  Abet Computers shall have no responsibility for such data and shall have no liability arising out of the loss of such data. If Abet Computers agrees to save any End User data the allocation of risk is reflected in the price of this service which is provided at no cost to the end user. Abet Computers does not perform any major data recovery services and shall not be held liable by anyone for the loss of data, nor will they be liable for indirect, special incidental, consequential, or other damages, however caused, arising out of the re-imaging process, repair or service of the computer and whether or not the End User has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

REPAIRS

The client requests and authorizes Abet Computers to examine, modify and attempt to repair any and all problems found with the computer system, data storage device, all files and any peripherals. The Client understands a diagnostic fee ($10.00) may apply if the Client declines to purchase replacement parts required to complete the repair.

TRANSFER OR INSTALLATION SERVICE

Unless otherwise agreed, Abet Computers is not liable for and you agree to not hold Abet Computers and owner Brad Watt responsible from any and all damages, costs, and expenses incurred as the result of any defect or damage to any software or data residing or recorded in your computer, whether incurred during the course of Abet Computers or otherwise. If service involves transferring information or installing software, you represent that you have the legal right to copy the information, to use the software and agree to the terms of the software license, and you authorize hold Abet Computers to transfer the information and accept such terms on your behalf in performing the service.

PAYMENT

Your payment for the actual costs incurred and the final sum owed, is due upon completion of services. Should it be determined in the course of the performance of diagnostics that the problems on your computer are hardware based, Abet Computers will notify you of the necessary actions to take to resolve the issue at hand and what the extra parts, if needed, will cost; diagnostic fees may still be applicable. If client does not pick up computer/s and/or peripherals/s after 90 days after drop off or completion of repair the ORIGINAL SIGNER (Client) releases all rights to computer,data and peripherals to Brad Watt (Owner) | Abet Computers.

WARRANTY

The Abet Computers warranty only applies to the part/service, not including software, completed for 30 days from the date of hardware purchased. Warranty for removal of viruses, spyware, adware, scareware or malware is 5 days; If they are the cause of a repeat effort, you will be charged again for that service. Any repairs made by Abet Computers may void the factory or supplemental warranty on your computer/device. If your computer/device needs repair and it is covered by warranty, Abet Computers recommends that the client contact the entity that sold or manufactured the computer/device for information about repairs covered under warranty.
